Post 55: 4th July and Germany vs. Argentina

Today was another rather laid back day.  I went to Mass in the morning, then went for a walk along the Lech in the afternoon but made sure that I was back in time for the fußball game against Argentina.  It was a good game, though at the end I felt bad for the Argentinians.  Losing 4-0 in the quarter finals.  It is definitely interesting being in Germany during the Weltmeisterschaft.  After every win that we've had, there have been people celebrating in the streets for hours after the end of the game.  They drive around Meitingen honking their horns, waving flags, and "playing" their vuvuzelas.  It is quite impressive even if it does get a little annoying after a while.  Definitely not something that you see back home.
